Update - Smashing Pumpkins to reform

Billy has said for the last few years that he will never ever play a pumpkins song again, and will never reform the band. ever.

he then postings on his site about how utterly horrible and talentless Darcy and Iha were (which is largely true). His new album came out this morning, and is a huge huge departure from any kind of guitar rock.

so, here is where it gets strange. today, the day his new disc comes out, Billy ran a full page ad asking to get his band back together.

So far, so good. As of July 5th 2005 Jimmy Chamberlain and Billy are defiantely in. There is a reliable but formally unconfirmed report that Darcy is in too.

Now we await word from James Iha, who is actually working with a very successful band... and so will be less desperate.

I have been on-line searching for hours for information regarding alvarez guitars and stumbled across your blog during my journey :-) Lono your blog is really amazing! Keep up the great work. Obviously my search on alvarez guitars was way off when compared to Update - Smashing Pumpkins to reform and find it funny how it landed me here. The internet is a funny thing. Well I just got back from the gym and I am beat. I am currently doing some research on resonator guitars and stumbled across your blog. Which cracks me up really. The internet can certainly land you off base sometimes. Even though Update - Smashing Pumpkins to reform is not completely related I think it is a cool blog. I have read back through the archives and lots of people make some very good points. Well I have been on-line forever it seems. I need to continue to plug away at resonator guitars. If you have the energy swing by resonator guitars. I try to update my site weekly and maybe you will see something you like. I already snagged your URL and put it in my favorites. Well this blog certainly is not about d tune guitars. What the heck! I guess the internet can play some tricks on us sometimes. I have been on-line for two hours
researching d tune guitars and came tumbling across your blog. I LOVE IT! I needed a break from d tune guitars anyways :-) If you don't mind I want to add your
